Дорогие соотечественники! Нас здесь так много, что я уверен -- кроме меня есть другие заинтересованные в темах, которые поднял С.Е. в "Сути времени". Отмечайтесь здесь, будем знакомы. Я в Лондоне.

needed to get it off my chest. Would anybody else like to make a comment?
3 Thomas More Square London E98 1TY Facimile:020-77825046 e-mail: letters@thetimes.co.uk (you have to leave your name, address and contact number) Sir, Has anybody else wondered why Mr Gorbachev who now lives in Germany has decided to celebrate his 80th birthday at the Royal Albert Hall with what seems a cynical charitable fund raising attachment to his event. This would be equivalent of Margaret Thatcher celebrating her birthday in Moscow's Bolshoy Theatre. After splitting up the Soviet Union with his "perestroika" he plunged the countries into chaos and decline. Strife, hardship, corruption, unemployment, civil conflicts wide spread and prolonged global instability. This is the legacy most people in former Soviet Union remember him for. Some politicians credit him with bringing in democracy and freedom to these countries and a peaceful ending of the Cold War, but I think all these assets could be gained without the break up of the Soviet Union. The Telegraph 07/05/2008 " Mikhail Gorbachev still fighting time and remains one of the few world leaders who could make the world spin faster on its axis" - Faster but not safer (we all need our seat belts on) I would add. Yelena Sabel |

Yelena Sabel совершенно согласна...потрясающе то что Горбачев отпразновал свой юбилей в Лондоне...и характерно...видимо много сделал хорошего для этой страны...я имею ввиду Англию |
